Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are excited to celebrate our Annual Art Gala this Spring with you and your family. All students in kindergarten through sixth grade will be featured. Due to the number of students, there will be two Galas. April 13, 2026, will feature grades 1,3,5. May 11, 2026, will feature grades K,2,4,6. Please view our Gala flyer to learn more.
We have almost 800 students to be featured and need the help of numerous volunteers to assist with the preparations, set up, and take down of the Gala. The Gala is basically a one-day event–everything must be completed in a few short hours. This is a huge amount of work! We could not do it without the help and support of our wonderful volunteers. Examples of what we need help with:
-preparing artwork for display
-preparing decorations
-setting up the Gala on Thursday, April 9th 3:45pm-5pm in the lobby
-setting up the Gala on Friday, April 10th from 10am-12pm in the lobby
-setting up the Gala on Friday, May 8th from 12:30-3pm and 3:45-5:30pm
-setting up the Gala on Monday, April 13th/May 11th at 2:00pm in the lobby/cafeteria
-helping with take down the Gala on Monday, April 13th/May 11th at 8pm (directly after the Gala)
Additionally, we are looking for the following donations, you’re welcome to send them in with your child or drop off items in the office.
Tissue Paper-large sheets
Hand soap bottles or refills
Lego dots (For Art) - These do not need to be new or in kits-any loose piece you no longer want is wonderful.
