Music Prize is offering select ReverbNation/BandLab artists exclusive free entry into their 2026 Music Prize competition and conference. All finalists receive $500 to perform, travel and accommodation stipends for out of town performers, two tickets to Music Prize Conference (MPCon), plus Music Prize VIP badges for each of the band members which grant you free food and drink throughout the festival. The Grand Prize is $10,000 cash. All genres are welcome, original music only, live performance is a prerequisite.

Past winners of Music Prize include ReverbNation/BandLab platform artists The American Hotel System, Octavia the Great, and Niki J. Crawford – this year, it could be you!

How it Works

• Submit your application through ReverbNation/BandLab by June 21, 2026
• Selected artists will be invited to complete a profile with Music Prize and submit a 15–20 minute performance video by July 7, 2026. Submission fees are waived for all selected ReverbNation/BandLab artists
• Music Prize’s selection committee will review the completed profiles and select ten (10) finalists, who will be announced in August 2026
• Finalist musicians attend MPCon and perform at Prize Fest October 16–17, 2026. Please note that in-person attendance is required for both nights of the festival, and at least two band members must attend the Music Prize Conference 2026
• Out-of-town performers will be eligible for a travel reimbursement of up to $250 and a lodging stipend of up to $500
• Mentor-Judges determine winners based on the artists’ live performance at Prize Fest and their interactions with artists at MPCon, all occurring October 16–17, 2026 in Shreveport, LA. Music Prize’s first-place cash award is $10,000; $2,000 for second; $1,000 for third
• Additionally, the audience will vote for the People’s Choice Award of $1,000
• All artists will be paid $500 for their performances
