You first start losing weight and everything is a breeze.
Scale moving quick. Hunger isn't an issue. Energy levels are great.
But a few weeks (or months) in, and things slow down.
It gets harder.
That is when the dig begins. The honeymoon phase is over.
After being a nutrition coach / personal trainer for the last 9 years, this is the time I see most people give up.
It's when weight regain is at it's highest risk.
One of the things I'm doing to keep myself from falling into that trap again is just having a clear end date.
I know that on May 31st, I'm going to bump my calories back up.
That gives me a specific target, and a plan for what happens next.
