The Patriots have 11 selections in this year’s NFL Draft, which begins with Round 1 on Thursday night.
How might they use those picks?
In Round 1, with the 31st overall choice, we're projecting offensive tackle Max Iheanachor from Arizona State as a solid pick.
Iheanachor, who served as the Sun Devils’ starting right tackle for 2½ seasons, would be a strong fit for the Patriots to develop as a replacement for 35-year-old Morgan Moses. Born in Nigeria before moving to Los Angeles as a teenager, Iheanachor flashed high potential as a dependable pass protector, allowing just 14 pressures, with zero sacks, across 484 pass-blocking snaps in 2025, and as an aggressive run blocker he played a role in Cam Skattebo’s breakout season in ′24.
At 6 feet 6 inches and 330 pounds, Iheanachor also tested well at the NFL Combine — posting the second-fastest 40-yard dash time (4.91 seconds) and third-best broad jump (9-7) among all offensive linemen.
