Hey, I saw your question about the hiking trail gear. I usually use a lightweight pack and bring plenty of water filters because you never know with the streams up there. The weather has been really unpredictable lately, so layering is key. I actually switched to a different brand of rain jacket last season and it made a huge difference in staying dry without overheating. Let me know if you want the name of the one I got. We should plan a trip soon, maybe in early fall when the leaves change. The views are supposed to be incredible around that time. I heard the campsites fill up fast though, so we would need to book well ahead to get a good spot. Anyway, just my two cents on the gear front! I found a great pair of lightweight boots that don't require much breaking in. They have been a lifesaver on rocky terrain. Let me know what you think.

Honestly, I think the book club pick for this month is fantastic. I stayed up way too late finishing it last night.
