Hey there – I finally got that old bike running again. Took a while to find the right inner tube, but once I swapped it out, the ride was smooth as ever. I’ve been meaning to take it out on the trails near my place, maybe this weekend if the weather holds. My neighbor mentioned a new path that goes along the river – sounds perfect for a long ride. I might even try fixing the gears next, they’ve been slipping a bit. Anyway, just wanted to share that little project update. Hope you’re doing well and finding time for your hobbies too. I finished that book last night – the one about the old lighthouse keeper. The ending was really unexpected, and the descriptions of the storms made me feel like I was right there. I’ve been thinking about starting another one from the same author, something set in the mountains this time. My book club meets next week and we’re supposed to discuss the symbolism. I’m still figuring out my take on the lighthouse as a metaphor for isolation. It might be a long conversation. Anyway, I’ll let you know how it goes. Hope you’re finding some good reads too.
