Oh, I saw your message about looking for something new to read. Honestly, I just finished that one about the history of maps and it was surprisingly engaging. It's not dry at all. The author has a really conversational way of weaving in personal anecdotes. I ended up learning a lot about how early explorers navigated using stars and currents. Let me know if you want me to drop it off this weekend. I think you'd really enjoy the chapter on celestial navigation. It makes you appreciate modern GPS, that's for sure. Anyway, let me know. Happy to lend it out. I've got a couple of other recommendations lined up too if you blaze through that one.

You will not believe what the cat did yesterday. I was working on my laptop and she just walked over, sat directly on the keyboard, and started purring like a motorboat. I tried to move her and she just flopped over. Completely dead weight. I think she knew I was running late for a meeting. Anyway, it reminded me of that time your dog stole the sandwich right off the counter. Animals really have no sense of personal space when they want something. Hope your week is going better than mine. Let's catch up properly soon. Maybe this weekend if the weather holds up. I heard the park near the old bridge is nice this time of year.
