Dear Iza,

One of the most painful truths on my healing journey was this question that :

What if mother never changes?

What if she never sees me the way I long to be seen?

What if she never gives me the love, protection, validation, or emotional connection I have waited my entire life?

This is where abandonment, loneliness, self-doubt, people-pleasing, and the search for love began for me.

For years, I hoped.

I hoped that if I became stronger, wiser, more successful, more loving, more understanding... eventually my mother would see me.

Eventually she would love me the way I needed.

Eventually the pain would disappear.

But it never did.

My breakthrough came when I stopped trying to change my mother and started looking within.

In this week's episode of The Feminine Podcast — Healing the Relationship with Your Biological Mother, I share one of the most intimate parts of my own healing journey and the profound breakthrough that finally helped me move beyond years of disappointment, longing, abandonment, and emotional pain.

Inside this episode, we explore:

Why healing is not about changing your mother

Why hope can sometimes keep us trapped in the wound

The connection between the Mother Wound and feelings of unworthiness, scarcity, and loneliness

How the Inner Child and the Divine Mother become the doorway to true healing

Why self-love cannot grow until we learn how to receive love

The 3 stages of healing the Mother Wound

This episode is not about blame.

It is about freedom.

It is about releasing the expectation that someone else must heal your pain and discovering the deeper source of love that has always been available to you.

If you have ever felt unseen, unsupported, abandoned, rejected, or emotionally alone...

This episode is for you.
