Complicating matters, adult ADHD can present differently from person to person. This webinar will outline professional recommendations for adult ADHD evaluations, addressing issues unique to the assessment of ADHD in women and older adults. You will learn:
- What a competent adult ADHD evaluation should include
- Why overlapping symptoms can make an accurate ADHD diagnosis challenging for women and older adults
- The most common co-existing conditions in adults with ADHD
- About Dr. Ramsay’s guidelines for differentiating ADHD and common mood, anxiety, and other diagnoses that can manifest as attention deficits
- How to talk to your clinician to increase the likelihood of an accurate diagnosis
