yes i think the north ridge trail would be better this time of year since the south fork tends to get muddy after the rain we had last week i checked the forecast and it looks clear for saturday morning so we should aim for an early start around 7 i can bring the portable stove and coffee if you handle the snacks make sure to pack layers because it gets windy up near the summit even when it is warm at the base i think we should plan for about six hours round trip with breaks let me know if you want to invite anyone else from the group i know marcos was asking about getting out there again but i havent confirmed with him yet we should also figure out parking since the lot fills up early on weekends

the lasagna turned out better than i expected even though i had to substitute the ricotta with cottage cheese since the store was out i added a bit of extra garlic and oregano to compensate and it actually gave it more depth i layered it with spinach and mushrooms and used the no boil noodles which saved a lot of time next time i might try adding some italian sausage for extra flavor the whole thing took about an hour to prep and forty five minutes in the oven i made enough for leftovers for the week which is always the goal let me know if you want the full recipe i kind of improvised but i wrote down what i did the key was letting it rest for fifteen minutes before cutting so the layers held together better
