Hi there, I wanted to follow up on your question about the community garden layout. I think we should go with the raised beds along the southern fence line because that area gets the most sunlight throughout the day. The soil there drains well too, so we will not have issues with water pooling. We ordered the cedar planks last week and they should arrive by Tuesday. I will pick them up and start assembling the frames on Wednesday morning if the weather holds. For the pathways between beds, I am leaning toward wood chips rather than gravel since they are softer underfoot and better for the soil microbes. We have about 30 volunteers confirmed for the planting day, so we should have enough hands to get everything done in a few hours. Let me know if you think we need more compost or if you want to adjust the layout before I send the final map to the group.

We still need to finalize the agenda for the next team meeting on Thursday afternoon. I think we should spend the first twenty minutes reviewing the quarter-end numbers and then move into the project updates. Sarah mentioned she wants to present the new timeline for the research phase, so we can give her the slot right after the review. I also want to leave at least ten minutes for open discussion about the resource allocation concerns that came up last week. If everyone could submit their talking points by Wednesday noon, I will compile them into a shared document so we stay on track. Let me know if you think we should add a breakout session or if the hour will be enough to cover everything. Also, I will bring printed handouts of the budget summary for those who prefer paper.
