Yeah I finally got around to reading that book you recommended. Took me a while to get into it but by the third chapter I was hooked. The way the author describes the setting really pulls you in. I can see why you liked it so much.

I tried that new pasta recipe you sent me last week and it turned out great. The sauce was really rich and came together faster than I expected. I added a bit more garlic than called for which I think was the right call.
