Office of the Spokesperson The below is attributable to Spokesperson Tommy Pigott: Secretary of State Marco Rubio met in Manila with Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan to reaffirm the strength of the U.S.-Singapore strategic partnership and our shared commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific. Secretary Rubio and Foreign Minister Balakrishnan discussed our expanding cooperation bilaterally and within ASEAN in areas including emerging technologies and trade.
