Only four months into his role as homeland security secretary, there appears to be growing tension between Markwayne Mullin and the White House after some early missteps, according to a senior Trump administration official and a senior Department of Homeland Security official. Mullin last week directed ICE officers nationwide to pause vehicle stops, which President Donald Trump reversed a day later.
