The U.S. Trade Representative announced a wave of tariffs of 10% to 12.5% on dozens of trade partners.

Sixty countries and trade blocs including the European Union, Canada and Mexico will face the tariffs, according to a fact sheet. The new duties will take effect at 12:01 a.m. ET on Friday morning.
