Grant Opportunity for Houses of Worship/ Local Organizations
Is your faith community or organization seeking security funding? Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) is filing proposals on behalf of partner houses of worship/organizations for the Virginia DCJS Hate Crimes Grant. This funding opportunity is open to institutions or nonprofit organizations that have been targets of or are at risk of being targeted for hate crimes, as well as localities engaged in partnership programs with eligible institutions or nonprofit organizations.
FCPD needs all interested Fairfax County houses of worship/organizations to complete the FCPD Interest Survey no later than 11:59 PM on Sunday, August 2nd.
All participating houses of worship/organizations will be contacted by our Grant Coordinator for a follow-up virtual meeting by August 5th.
