7.25.26 | 🌴 How to create a recharge ritual with Angela VranichThe Co-Founder of Little Spoon on slowing down this summer: home cooking, her reading list, evening walks, and her tiny kitchen gadget obsessionHappy Saturday! I’m so excited to welcome this week’s guest curator, Angela Vranich, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Little Spoon — one of our favorite brands for feeding babies, toddlers, and big kids, including our own. TGT has reviewed Little Spoon and many of our editors have trusted the brand to nourish our little ones and sustain us through intense parts of early parenthood (myself included!) Feeding options are not only important for key nutrients, of course, but they’re also crucial for differing family needs, capacities, and schedules. Eliminating dinner decision fatigue alone can turn the whole evening around for me as a mother. Below, Angela allows us to peek into her weekend routine as she splits her time between NYC and Miami. She also shares the kitchen tool she can’t stop recommending to everyone and what she’s been reading lately. It’s a delightful, sunny read — I know you’ll enjoy! Warmly, 💛 Welcome, Angela!Hi! I’m Angela Vranich, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Little Spoon. I split my time between New York City and Miami, and I’ve found myself in Miami for a few weeks this July. While most people think of winter as Miami season, I’ve actually been loving it this time of year. We spent nearly three years renovating our 100-year-old Spanish Colonial house down here, and the kitchen was the heart of the project. We both love to cook, so it naturally became the place where we spend most of our time! Lately we’ve been grilling outside and taking advantage of all the incredible summer produce. Saturday mornings are my time to catch up on all the life admin that somehow never gets done during the week - planning travel, researching something for the house, organizing the week ahead. Once that’s out of the way, the rest of the weekend feels much lighter. This time of year we spend a lot of afternoons outside by the pool, reading in the shade, or heading to the beach for a few hours. We’ve also been taking advantage of the slower season by trying restaurants that are normally impossible to get into or too chaotic in the high season. One of my favorite parts of the weekend are our evening walks around the neighborhood with our dog, Gus. I always leave my phone at home to disconnect a bit. We also try to shut our computers at the end of the workday and actually talk about our days instead of sitting side by side answering one more email...
