Coast Guard birthday

VA Augusta wishes a happy 236th birthday to all our Coast Guard Veterans and active members! On Aug. 4, 1790, President George Washington signed the Tariff Act, authorizing 10 revenue cutters to defend our young nation and enforce tariff laws. Thanks to each of you for safeguarding the nation’s waters and maritime interests
