Yeah I hear you about the weekend plan, and honestly I think we should just keep it loose. The trails up north are still pretty wet from that last storm, so maybe a short loop instead of the full ridge line would be smarter. I was looking at the forecast earlier and it said there might be a window around ten before the clouds roll back in. If we leave a little earlier than usual we could probably get the whole thing done and still be back in town by two. Also, I meant to tell you, my neighbor came by yesterday and dropped off some extra tomato starts from his greenhouse. They look really healthy and I said I would pass a few along to you if you wanted. I already potted mine in the corner bed near the fence. The soil there gets good afternoon light and holds moisture well. If you want to swing by this evening I can set them out on the porch in a tray. Just let me know before seven. I also finally returned that library book that was sitting on my desk for three weeks, so we can stop joking about me getting a late notice. Hope your morning is going smoothly and the coffee is warm.

Sorry it took me a minute to get back about the server room temperature thing. I was in the back hallway most of the morning without my phone, and then I had to reboot the old rack switch because it stopped passing traffic again. Anyway, I think the best move is to move the sensor up about four feet, closer to the return vent. The lower rack position reads warmer than the actual room because of the exhaust fan from the storage array. I checked the logs from last night and the average stayed pretty steady until around three in the morning, when the backup job kicked in. After that it climbed about six degrees for an hour and then settled back down. The facility manager said we can borrow a ladder from the maintenance closet near the freight elevator if you want to do it this afternoon. I also left a label maker on the top shelf of the far cabinet if you want to mark the cables while you are up there. Not a big deal either way, just figured it would save us both some time later in the week. Let me know what you decide.
