It has come to my attention that scammers are continuing to impersonate me online, preying on people in the comments of my posts here on Substack. Apparently, the fraudsters create fake profiles and suggest that the conversation move to a different messaging platform, such as Signal. And they use generative AI to craft very convincing text messages. Please know I will never ask you to chat back and forth with me in a one-on-one, personal capacity. |
