Our mission is to advocate and support the needs of Woodson students, teachers and staff with 100% of all contributions benefiting the school community.
PTSO News
Hello Woodson Families!
We’re looking forward to Back to School Night this Thursday. Stop by our table to say hello before you head to your student(s) first period. Best of luck navigating the halls and we hope you enjoy meeting the wonderful teachers and staff.
Our membership drive will end this month so we can move forward with approving the year’s budget and focus on programming, including our grants, teacher and staff appreciation, and community outreach. Join the PTSO online or in-person at the remaining back-to-school events.
Connect with us on Facebook, Instagram, or by emailing woodsonhsptso@gmail.com. Sincerely, Woodson High School PTSO
PTSO Fall Grant Application Opens September 14th
The Woodson PTSO Grant Program is open to students and teachers seeking funding for projects that benefit the Woodson High School community. All applications must be reviewed or discussed with a Woodson teacher, club sponsor, or department head prior to submission. Our grants are funded through PTSO memberships and donations from our school community. While we aim to support as many initiatives as possible, the amount awarded depends on the current PTSO budget. We plan to communicate all grant decisions via email by October 16, 2026.

ANGP (All Night Grad Party) Committee
The ANGP committee is looking for a chair and/or co-chair to help celebrate the Class of 2027! The ANGP is a long-standing Woodson PTSO tradition that gives our graduates a safe, fun, and unforgettable way to celebrate together after commencement.
This year’s venue has been secured. Reach out to woodsonhsptso@gmail.com if interested.
PTSO Membership Options
Our goal is to capture an annual contribution at the beginning of the year versus asking for monetary help for every time we have an event. This allows our team to plan and approve our yearly budget at our first meeting on September 22nd.
Based on the positive feedback from our school community, the PTSO will continue with our tiered membership contribution options and our small business sponsor program.
Join the PTSO or become a small business sponsor
Annual membership contribution options can be found on the Woodson High School PT Board website under the Forms & Payments section. All membership levels have the same voting rights.
Reach out to our team with any questions at woodsonhsptso@gmail.com.
PTSO Small Business Sponsors
We’re excited to have returning and new business sponsors this year. Our WeMail banner is featured all year. Sponsors will also receive a special spotlight feature in the WeMail and on our social pages. Please consider joining the group of amazing sponsors!

Save the Dates
Join us at our PTSO meetings. This is a great time to interact with our school administration, student leaders, and fellow parents. Meetings start at 7pm.
As a tradition our first meeting is in-person at the Woodson library! Following meetings are virtual to accommodate the busy schedules of the community (and yes, many of us join the meeting from an activity pickup parking lot, etc). The meeting link will be sent in our reminder email about the meeting. We hope to see you there!
