Hi Izabela
Monday I said my shelf fits in one hand. So today, three wins, and not one of them came out of a bottle.
Alex, 50, sent me this after running into her neighbour:
"She couldn't believe I turned 50 this year. She said, oh my God, your skin is amazing. I could never tell you're 50. What have you been doing?"
Her skin. Not her dress size. And she didn't change her skincare.
She also said this, which I'll admit I read twice: "I am actually sending regularly people your way, Vale."
Matilda joined recently, and her first win was about bone broth, which is food, not a supplement:
"I've been having this weird feeling that my body feels good or happy after I've been taking it. I don't know how to explain it, but it feels very good."
Your body feels happy. That's all I need to know, honestly.
Then two weeks later:
"Since I finally went to the bathroom yesterday, I went today as well, so I'm happy, happy. And I also realized that the last couple of nights, I have not been waking up at 4:00, which I've been doing."
Digestion moving, and the 4am waking stopped. In two weeks. From food and a routine.
How cool is that?
And Paivi (69), who I want to tell you about specifically because it's the perfect example of what I mean.
She was getting up three times a night to go to the bathroom. Every night. Wrecking her sleep.
That was never a supplement she was missing. It was minerals, and water.
She wasn't drinking enough water with enough sodium, potassium and magnesium in it, so nothing was staying where it belonged.
She's also holding a 7 kg (15 lbs) loss. Her words: "I'm back in, eating well and still staying seven kilos down."
Now the honest bit.
Babs quit coffee this month. It gave her two days of headaches first.
Genuinely unpleasant. I know ir well...it happened to me too.
Then she wrote this:
"Yesterday morning I was tired around 11. I recognized that feeling. Normally my whole day is down from there. I started doing some stretching and had a matcha. My energy turned and I felt amazing the rest of the day. I even went to the gym in the afternoon."
Yup, it's not all rainbows and flowers here all the time. Full transparency. Two days of headaches came before that. Healing can look like that some times, and when you get the support and reasurance you need, instead of getting scared, you just let your body do its job.
But look at what the win actually was, Izabela. She recognised the dip, and she knew what to do about it.
That's not a product. That's knowing how your own body works.
This is truly beautiful to see.
Love,
Vale
P.S. The video is up, and it's the full list. Everything I take at 50, why each one earns its place, and what I stopped wasting money on.
