The Patriots have five players eligible to return from injured reserve this week, but it doesn’t sound like any are quite ready for game action.
Special teamer Brenden Schooler, punter Bryce Baringer, linebacker Khalil Jacobs, offensive tackle Marcus Bryant, and outside linebacker Harold Landry are eligible to return after starting the season on the physically unable to perform list or non-football injury list.
However, before practice on Wednesday, coach Mike Vrabel indicated the group will remain sidelined, at least for Sunday’s game against the Raiders, saying there’s some “uncertainty” regarding a timeline for their potential return.
