VA Central Iowa invites you to participate in an optional, anonymous questionnaire to evaluate how well our improvements impacted the VEText appointment reminders experience. Newly enrolled veterans are now receiving a brochure that explains how to add clinic locations to the VEText appointment reminders. The brochure also explains how to opt in or out of VEText appointment reminders. Additionally, these brochures can be found in-person at our check in desks. If you don't see one, ask a staff member to print one for you. Lastly, our facility has reduced the number of reminders per appointment from 3 to 2. The VEText appointment reminders are sent 7 and 1 day prior to your appointment. These improvements were made possible utilizing the 299 responses received from VA Central Iowa veterans on how they would like to see VEText improved.
